Join the library

This membership type provides access to everything we offer which includes borrowing physical and digital collection items, and accessing online resources like eBooks and streaming services. Full membership is available to all residents and rate payers in the Dubbo Regional Council, Narromine Shire Council and Warrumbungle Shire Council local government areas of NSW.

If you live outside these areas and hold a current membership with your local public library service then you should apply for a Reciprocal membership instead.

Use this form to sign-up if you are registering a child under the age of 16 years.

Children and Youth under the age of 16 will need to have a guarantor. A guarantor is a parent or legal guardian aged 18 years or older who agrees to take responsibility for the use of library resources and services, including online, by persons under the age of 16.

This membership provides up to 6 months access to the library's online resources including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, movie and TV streaming, and various online databases. eBorrower Membership is available to all residents and rate payers of the Dubbo Regional Council, Narromine Shire Council and Warrumbungle Shire Council local government areas.

• You will be issued with a temporary eBorrower number after joining. A permanent Borrower number will be assigned once your application is processed by the library and will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
  
• Once you've received your permanent Borrower number you will be able to borrow and stream our eBooks, eAudio, eMagazines and films online.
• You will need to become a full member to enjoy access for longer than 6 months.

Reciprocal membership also provides access to everything we offer and is available to those that are a permanent resident of another NSW local government area. You must also hold a current membership with your local public library service to be eligible to join as a Reciprocal member.

If you are temporarily living in the Dubbo Regional Council, Narromine Shire Council or Warrumbungle Shire Council local government areas for an extended period (3 months or longer), but are not a permanent resident of NSW, you may be eligible for a Visitor Membership. Conditions apply and these will be explained to you by a library staff member in person when finalising your registration at your nominated branch.
